both fridge and freezer were not staying cool/cold enough Frost appeared on the back wall of freezer
Most time consuming portion of this repair was actually defrosting the freezer. Since the thermostat had stopped working, the freezer had stopped defrosting. repair guy with my hair dryer and my towels to do this work and the majority of the time I spent on his was probably for the defrosting! The part replacement itself takes literally 5 minutes. If you are even the slightest bit handy with a tool and own a blow dryer and some old towels, you're all set! The great videos on this site and a big help too! Thanks to this site t and everyone before me who posted tips! My fridge is cooling and freezing like new and it only cost me a total of $25.46!!!
