INSIDE LIGHT SWITCH FAILED
OPENED DOOR, PULLED SLACK ON SWITCH OUT.FROM THE BOTTOM PUSHED UP WITH 5 IN 1. ( PUTTY KNIFE). POPPED SWITCH OUT., UNPLUGGED, AND REPLACED. 10 MINUTES.

Switch Light arm broke off.
Wicked easy...The switch light assembly sits in a cut out just inside the refrigerator and is actuated by the door edge. To remove it, slide it down to free it up. Using a flat head screw driver, slide up under the switch body and depress the tab that holds the switch assy in place and pull it out of the cut out. Be careful not to pry on the cut out edge or you can damage it. Remove the plug from the switch and plug up the new switch. Then slide the new switch back into the cut out, it will click into place as the locking tab clears the edge. op check...done.

The icemaker would not make ice anymore
Pulled out the fridge and unplugged it. Turned off the water at the wall. Took off the panel in the back that covers compressor and other parts. Took out one screw that holds the water valve on and pulled out the water supply lines that pop or plug in. Next I loosened the nut on the water supply line. Pulled it away and installed the new water valve in reverse order. Re-installed the panel. Next I loosended two screws that hold the ice maker on and unplugged it. Replaced with new ice maker in reverse order. Plugged fridge back in and in three hours ICE!
