first check in line filter, look good. i then suspected water inlet valve ordered part, was delivered in two days. pulled the fridge out from wall then removed back cover.the valve was very easy to get to. i TURN THE WATER OFF!!! i notice the lots of dirt dust in compartment. good time to clean, got vacuum, UNPLUGGED THE FRIDGE!!! clean

fan,compressor, coils, now the valve. disconnect water line from valve, have a towel or rag handy. removed mounting screws pulled valve away, disconnected both water feeds to ice maker, water dispenser. ice maker is 1/4 inch OD the dispenser is 3/8 OD removed two sets of wires taking note witch sets went with each solonoid remove old valve install new reverse the process tip: if water supply line is copper with a compression fitting that connects to valve put a small amount, and i mean small, pipe dope on threads of valve i put it at the very top carefull not to get into valve this is a little insurance . turn water back on check for leaks be carefull not to over tighten compression fitting. how tight??? just tight enough to keep it from leaking no more no less dont forget to plug fridge back in before pushing refrigerator back
