Product Description

This clutch component is essential for the proper operation of top-load washing machines, helping to activate the transmission during both the agitation and spin cycles. If your washer is struggling to agitate or spin, this part may be the culprit and should be inspected for wear or damage. Installation involves accessing the underside of the appliance, and you'll need a socket wrench and screwdriver to complete the replacement. The clutch is supplied with one securing screw and is designed to restore reliable performance to your washer, ensuring your laundry cycles run smoothly and efficiently.

The washer makes a humming noise and will no longer agitate. The silver basin spindle was replaced less than a month ago. Do you think this is the clutch now that’s bad?
