burner tube was shot and igniter was broken thus no heat
Lifted top of dryer and supported with wire per video. I watched a video first before starting the job. Then removed the front panel and supported the drum. Didn't have to remove the drum as the gas valve unit was at the lower left front corner. Then it was just a matter of replacing the burner tube and the igniter being very careful not to break anything. Putting the front panel back on was the toughest part of the job. Once back together the dryer worked fine. I shoud mention that I had to take the burner bracket off because it was a little tight to work in that area to get the burner tube on the bracket
