I was told to replace this part on my dryer because I am getting a vent occlusion alert but there isn’t an occlusion. Is it correct to do this? Thank you.

Hello Ethan, thank you for contacting us. Provided that the vents are clean, we would recommend checking the blower wheel, part number FIX4212790, and its motor, part number FIX4204647, and make sure they are working and able to keep the air in flow. If this does not help, the issue is probably related to the thermistor, part number FIX4204984, and the control board, part number FIX11766599. My dryer is not heating. How can I tell if it is the heating element or the thermistor?

Hello Sonia, Thank you for the question. In order to confirm if the Heating element or the Thermistor are faulty, they would need to be tested with a Multimeter. The Thermistor should read 10,000 ohms at 77°. The Element should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. UNPLUG first! remove vent hose, remove inside vent tube, (three screws), remove the top panel, (two screws, on back top), remove front panel with door,(4 screws on top, & 3 screws inside door)..to remove heater, remove one screw in the front, and unplug the wiring, then snake it out the back.. install new and put back together following

The video is really helpful in the dis-assembly process of a Samsung dryer. These coils fit the Samsung DV328 even though it's not listed. - PS334310 There were a lot of pieces to take apart in order to get to the coils. None of it was hard, just a lot and it was all done with a single Phillip's screwdriver.
