This Genuine OEM door latch is designed for use with a wide range of GE clothes dryers. Constructed from a combination of durable metal and plastic, the latch is mounted onto the dryer frame to securely hold the door closed during operation. Door would not close
So easy ! I am a female senior citizen and this repair took only a screw driver to pry off the old latch and needle nose pliers to pull it out. The parts were under $10 and it saved me hundreds since I didn't have to call a repairman or purchase a new dryer.

Switch door to open left
Door latch was difficult to pop out so ordered replacement latch in anticipation of having to break it to get it out. Task itself wasn't hard but it did require 4 hands. Needed help with holding the door in place to reattach....

dryer door won't close tight
removed bezel from old part, while trying to pull it out, old part, it fell into cabinet. Snapped new part in place. Problem solved!
