The Stainless steel dryer drum was cracked at the mouth.
T he crack was noticed by the clickimng noise as it traveled over the bearings and by the pieces of felt in the lint filter.My first repair was a few weeks ago, before I noticed the drum was cracked. I replaced the front drum bearings and felt seal. The problem continued and I again removed the dryer front to try and find the source of the clicking noise. By slowly rotated the drum and used my finder tips I found the drum crack. The drum was easily replaced from the front of the drier. Nothing else to remove except the belt. Just pull the drum straight out. It was a tight fit to slide it out between the two side panels and I found that it helped to spread the side panels slightly apart while pulling the drum out. My wife helped. Slip the new one in, replace the belt, and reinstall the dryer front.

Dryer was very noisy.
If someone else replaces these parts be sure to also purchase the 4 nylon bearings! The front drum bearing does not come with them and this site does not mention or recommend buying them. So I had to find another source to purchase them. Also when I placed my order I was told I would receive the parts in 2 days it took 4 days for them to arrive.

Loud squealing sounds from worn drum bearing slides.
Followed the instructions on the video and removed 4 screws for the top and front. Removed all worn plastic parts as well belt for the drum. All finished in about 25 minutes. Very easy because of this website. I was ready to go buy a new dryer but instead replaced all wear parts inside and it runs like new.
