Replace upper and lowet dishracks
The lack of instructions or accurate drawings in the Owner's Manual and on-line, from either KitchenAid or PartsSelect, made the job extremely difficult. It took my wife and I three hours to move the plastic parts that needed to be reused from the old rusty racks. With the racks costing half the original purchase price of the dishwasher, I would not recommend replacing the racks. Better to find a model with stainless steel racks rather than the cheesy, vinyl-covered steel in the KitchenAid unit.

Broken spindles throughout the rush rack
Just take the wheel units off the old rack and snap on to the new rack. Place back inside dish washer & done.

heat damages to lower dishrack
rolled out the old lower rack, popped off the wheels, installed the wheels on the new rack, inserted the rear tine row and rolled the new rack into place. It was almost as easy as changing a light bulb.

Lower Rack perfect fit
It isn’t the exact one they came with my dishwasher but it fit perfectly. I had a silverware basket and also a corner basket for small objects. The original rack had a cut for the corner one but this rack doesn’t. It fits by turning it facing the opposite direction in front of silverware basket. They don’t explain ‘‘this or mention it in the video. I suggest you watch the installment video on their website. It’s not difficult and the video gives decent instructions
