Black front panel dull and faded.... Just wanted it shiny
Someone in the comments said this was EASY.... just a couple screws. So, I ordered the part. I was NOT EASY!! In order to replace the front panel, the WHOLE DOOR of the dishwasher had to be disassembled.... including the plastic inside panel!! Then because of a change in design, it did not go back together the same way. A note came i n the box saying that I needed to order another part to make it work right because of the change. That info should have been told to me when I ordered!! I can't even tell you how I did this...... my husband had to come help hold the spring loaded hinges while I screwed things together. Some of the screws do not fit tightly now (because I didn't order the extra part) but after working on this for two days, I just didn't care! Now my spring-loaded hinges for the door have lost their self-closing ability!! I would not try this on my own again. I would call a repairman and have it replaced without the hassle........
