Blender does not liquify for smoothies. Is that blade assembly? Cause motor is still going strong.

We have researched your model number and found that these are the reasons your blender does not liquefy: Too many frozen ingredients, not using enough water, or you may need to check the blender settings. blades would no longer rotate because pin securing blades to dome had become loose
I simply replaced the Dome & Blade Assembly. I used Part No. PS401674 for my Kitchen Aid blender. I was concerned that the assembly wouldn't fit because there wasn't info about the specific model I have, but a call to reassured me -- no problem.

Drive Coupling Had Disintegrated And Dome And Blade Assembly Was Basically "Frozen" And Very Difficult To Turn.
Went online to inquire about repairing the blender. . . . . . . Had about decided to discard it! Glad I did not. Found the info on changing out the drive coupling and read other comments from other customers. After I understood that the metal in the drive coupling and the shaft were different metals, I had no difficulty "prying" the

old drive coupling off. Then it was simply a matter of screwing (ccw) the new coupling on. I decided to replace the dome and blade assembly even though I may have been able to work it free with a little effort. Glad I found how to do it!!! Simple!!
