Your refrigerator water and ice filter should be replaced at least every 6 months, to prevent water that has an undesirable taste and odor, or if left for too long, can cause leaks and ice maker malfunction. The location of this filter can vary depending on your model. Some common locations to check include the top right corner of the interior compartment, the bottom left grille, or the middle of the interior. This filter is an original manufacturer part and NSF-certified. It has a straightforward, quick-turn installation feature that does not require the use of tools.

Filter needed to be replaced
I opened the small door and observed how the arrows lined up on the bottom of the one in the slot. I pulled the cylinder our and placed the new one with the arrows pointing the same way and pushed it in and closed the small door. Then pushed the reset button until the green light came back. Be sure to take the coverings off the two openings! Read more...

This package contains one individual water filter that is NSF-certified, and OEM approved. To ensure that the filter is successfully removing contaminants, it will need to be replaced at least every 6 months or 200 gallons of water. This will ensure tasteless and odor-free water. It has approximate measurements of 2-1/2 inches deep, 1-1/2 inches wide, and 8 inches high. This is a simple installation. This filter is found on the interior of the refrigerator in a drop-down style housing. Pop out the old filter, slide the new filter in place and turn it until it clicks. Be careful not to over-tighten. Close the cover. Run your dispenser to activate the filter and clear out air bubbles. A loud air pressure sound is completely normal. Reset your water filter indicator if applicable.

Your refrigerator air filter should be replaced at least every 6 months to ensure its working as it should. This part is responsible for reducing common food odors and bacteria in the air, improving unpleasant smells and flavor of ice. The location of this part can vary from model to model; however, it is commonly found under a small cover on the back-middle-top of your refrigerator, which can usually be popped off quite easily. This is part does not include the indicator; it is the filter only.

The gallon door bin attaches to the inside of the refrigerator door and is typically used to hold jars and bottles within easy reach. These bins are clear, as the white version has been discontinued by the manufactured. As these are genuine OEM parts, the clear bins will still fit your fridge even though they may appear different from the original part. Regular wear and tear or excess weight can cause the bins to crack, and damaged bins should be replaced. The bin measures approximately 16 inches wide by 3-1/4 inches high.

Light switch no longer worked
Turn off and unplug your refrigerator. I used the screwdriver on the left side of the part (where the plug is) and used the putty knife at the same time on the right side to push the spring lock portion of the part in. The part snapped out. I unplugged the left contact from the plug and put it on the new part, then I unplugged the right contact and put it on the new part. I did this so the wires would not go up into the refrigerator and be hard to find. I put the left side of the new part where the plug and contacts are in first then I snapped the right side in place. I plugged the refrigerator back in and it worked perfectly. Just take your time and gently remove and reconnect the new part. The store where I bought my refrigerator wanted $69.95 for a service call plus an hourly charge and part charge. Count on this site for your parts and do it yourself. I ordered the part on Monday, it was delivered on Tuesday around noon and I made the repair that afternoon. Read more...

This ice maker is for refrigerators. Ice maker includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage in is full. Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

This genuine OEM part is the plastic frame for the meat drawer shelf in your refrigerator. The glass insert is not included with this part but can be purchased separately. This shelf frame is the piece that your crisper drawer sits underneath. If the frame has become cracked or damaged it should be replaced so that it can continue to hold items in your fridge. Excess weight on the shelf or in the drawer can cause the frame to crack, so please be mindful of this to avoid damaging your replacement part.

If your freezer has stopped making ice cubes, it may be time to replace your ice maker. Normal wear and tear, or accidental damage may be the cause of this. This model includes the control device and ice mold, which are made of plastic and metal, and measure approximately 11 inches long by 5 inches wide. Please note that this kit does not include the cover, ice level arm, or the wire harness. These parts can be ordered separately, or you can use the existing parts from the original ice maker. This Replacement Ice Maker is a genuine OEM part and is also known as an Ice Maker Assembly or a Refrigerator Ice Maker. Installation will require a quarter inch nut driver, and make sure that you disconnect your power and water supply before beginning this repair. Once the new part is in place, your fridge will begin making ice again within a few hours.
