Replacing the two belts on a PRTT196E1 tiller?
For model number PRTT196E
Fix.com logo
Hi Juan, Thank you for your question. Before removing and replacing the belts on your tiller, remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug. Then remove the screws securing the belt cover and set the cover aside. With the cover removed, unthead the bolts from the belt keeper and pull the belt keeper off. Then remove the belt from the pulleys. Then position the new belt on the pulleys and follow the steps in reverse. We hope this helps!
