original light grey color grates stained and unsightly--no amount of scrubbing or cleansers would make them look nice.
Opened the box and took out the black color grates~~removed discolored grates and put the new ones on. Looks like a brand new stove and much nicer to look at as it is the first thing you see when you enter the kitchen.

Search for replacement knobs for my very old surface burnner
I shall clarify that it's not the repairing is difficult, but the process to find the right parts. My surface burner from Magic Chef is over 20 years old abut works very well. However, the knobs are broken. It took me many hours searching online and visiting multiple appliance stores to finally find the correct one here. So, I want to sha re my experience here.
